Camps

What does a camp day look like?

Our half-day art camps offer a fully immersive art experience. Campers work within a theme to create mini sets, props, costume pieces, and process-based art projects. With two studio spaces, children enjoy both messy exploration and clean creation throughout the session.  Campers break midway for a nut-free snack and free creation.

How many campers are in each group?

We keep camps small so children receive hands-on support. Camps run with a 1 to 6 staff-to-camper ratio. Each day includes two groups of up to 12 campers, for a total of 24 children in our 2,000 square foot studio.

Do you offer full-day camps?

No. All camps are half-day programs lasting three hours. This allows us to offer a focused, high-quality art experience using a wide range of materials.

What is the camp refund policy?

A full refund, minus processing fees, is available with one month’s notice or if a replacement camper can be found. Missed camp days are not credited or refunded.

Parties

How many children can attend a party?

Parties include up to 13 children with the Birthday child. Our parties are designed for small groups to ensure a quality experience. Each party is individually designed and hand made.

Parents do have an option to add-on extra guests up to a maximum of 20.

What kind of parties do you offer?

We offer 3 types of parties – slime, art or process.

Slime options include gel or fluffy slime.

Art or process parties are thematic. Families choose a theme and activities in our party building tool. There is also an option to add pre-made gel slime.

Guests may create mini sets, paint and design hanging panels, or move through messy, sensory and clean stations.

Each party is individually designed and hand made.

Can we serve food at our party?

Yes. All parties are 2 hours and end with 30 minutes for food.

We provide covered tables, but families are required to bring in their own nut free food and serving materials. There is a great pizza place – Free Toppings Pizza – a few doors down from our studio!

Safety

What screening do staff and volunteers require?

All our full-time staff members are required to have Standard First Aid as well as a vulnerable sector check. We are an all-female staff.

Volunteers must take the Babysitting Course or a Basic First Aid course, as well as attend a meeting to learn Best Practises at Arts Unleashed.

What if my child is sick or has to miss a class?

We do not offer credits or refunds for missed classes. If we are able, we will offer a take home kit for our art classes.

What if my child has an allergy?
